Jean is a geological engineer with over 35 years of practical experience in mineral exploration, particularly in the areas of project generation, prospecting, and reconnaissance work.
His practice has led him to work on a wide variety of types of mineral deposits, both for major companies and juniors, in more than fifteen countries.
Jean is the recipient of the 2017 Nicolas Denys Medal, awarded to highlight the career of a prospector who, through his work over many years, has significantly contributed to the development of prospecting and mineral exploration in Quebec. He is well-known in his field for his professionalism, impeccable ethics, and pragmatism.
In addition to using public data, we go beyond by exploring uncaptured information. Every winter, hundreds of hours are dedicated to analyzing geological reports, historical drilling logs, and reprocessing geophysical data. Thanks to our international experience, we interpret these pieces of information in an original manner.
The majority of generated projects are then visited and undergo basic prospecting work. The initial concepts are validated or invalidated as the case may be. Nearly 75% of the initial projects are eliminated at this stage!
